Last night’s Sheba Under the Stars gala event was an amazing evening of inspiration, wonderful entertainment and fine dining, among old friends and new. I was honoured to participate in the program as auctioneer for the live auction component. I congratulate the committee for a first class event and a huge success. The event was attended by Sheikh Abdulla Bin Rashed Alkhalifa, ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the USA and Canada and he spoke warmly about the goodwill and cooperation between nations being generated by the Center’s excellence.
Out of the world’s top 250 smart hospitals, Sheba was just ranked #13 in Newsweek’s World's Best Smart Hospitals 2021, and first in Israel. This accomplishment demonstrates Sheba's place as a world leader, not only through its previous more general ranking as a Top-10 World Hospital, but also as a testament to the work of ARC, Sheba BEYOND and the full complement of innovative programs stemming from Sheba Medical Center.
