Antique English Folio Stand
Antique English George IV mahogany folio stand, the double hinged top fitted with brown leather inset tops, the two door base with interior shelves and glazed fronts. Circa 1840. Approx. 41½” wide, 28” deep, 31” high.
Pair of Antique Satsuma Vases
A pair of antique handpainted Satsuma (Japan) pottery vases of bulbous bodied form, decorated with ‘Emperor and Empress’ and coiling dragon representations on a black ground with overall moriage enameled accents. Gilt banded at the rims, necks, shoulders and bases, both with painted gilt Mon at the upper shoulder. Each is hand-signed ‘Niiyama’ in the base. Height approx. 12½”. Condition excellent. Meiji Period, circa 1868-1912.

Antique French Bureau Plat by Paul Sormani
Antique French Louis XV style bureau plat, fitted with 3 drawers, on cabriole legs, in crossbanded mahogany, with bronze ormolu mounts, and brown leather top. Signed ‘P. Sormani, Paris, 10 rue Chailot’. (Paul Sormani, circa 1870). Approx. 72” wide, 37” deep, 31” high.
18th Century Alabaster Sculpture
Antique Continental carved alabaster sculpture in the form of a child sitting upon a human skull and blowing bubbles, mounted on a greenish black marble plinth. Sculpture height is approx. 16”. Plinth height is approx. 8¾”. Some overall abrasion noted. This subject matter was extensively utilized by many artists from the end of the 16th Century especially in Holland, as an allegory representing the inevitability of death. Circa late 17th to early 18th Century.
