Toronto Appraisal Public Installation Life Size Bronze Sculpture Group

We were honoured to have been chosen as appraisers of a recently dedicated life size bronze sculpture group, now installed and on permanent public display at the Columbus Centre, 901 Lawrence Avenue West, Toronto.

Bronze Sculpture Group Appraisal

Entitled “Hope: My Country, My Home, My Future”, the four figure group was conceived and executed by noted Toronto sculptor, Aldo Cundari. It was recently installed as the centerpiece of the Villa Charities Italian Canadian Immigrant Tribute installation at the entrance to the Columbus Centre located at 901 Lawrence Avenue West. The sculpture group depicts a 1950's era immigrant family, new to Canada, full of hope and excitement for the future in their new country. The grand unveiling of the project was on November 14th of this year, and was attended by hundreds of community members and leaders. Congratulations to the artist and the community on a most impressive and enduring statement, and our thanks for the opportunity to be involved in this important milestone commemoration.
