Quite the read...

We had the pleasure to examine and appraise an extremely rare and valuable illustrated volume recently for a Toronto client, entitled “The Tragedie of Hamlet Prince of Denmarke”, by William Shakespeare. This limited edition hardbound leather volume with gilt line accenting, by O. Dorfner, Weimar, is illustrated with 80 wood engravings by Edward Gordon Craig. Printed by Count Harry Kessler and Max Goertz at the Cranach Press, Weimar, in 1930. Numbered #49 of a limited edition of 300 copies. Provenance: Beacon Book Shop, Norfolk, VA. This superb volume appraises at nearly $20,000.
